Chewy Chip Cookies are soft, chocolate-filled treats with a hint of vanilla and pudding for extra moistness, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings with a glass of milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and pudding mix.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Beat in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour and baking soda to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Remove from oven and transfer to wire racks to cool.
