Ingredients

  • 3 cups cornbread, baked and finely crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons ground sage
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup biscuits or loaf bread, finely crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients, adding enough chicken broth to moisten until very soft.
  2. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  3. Dot the top with butter.
  4. Bake in a 350°F oven until the top browns.
  5. Serve with chicken or turkey.
