- Boil the chicken until tender and save the water.
- Debone the chicken and grind it up.
- Skim the fat off the chicken water and sauté the white part of the shallots in this fat.
- Add the ground-up chicken back into the water along with the sautéed shallots, can of Cream of Mushroom soup, pimento, and vinegar.
- Simmer until all the water is dissolved.
- Add the green part of shallots, salt, and red pepper.
- Melt the gelatin in hot water and pour into the chicken mixture, blending well.
- Pour the mixture into a mold.
- Refrigerate until the gelatin is set and firm.
