- 2 lb. extra lean boneless pork ⓘ
- 1 lb. boneless beef chuck ⓘ

- 6 to 8 cloves garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1 can whole tomatoes (28 oz.), mashed ⓘ
- 2 (4 oz.) cans green chili peppers, drained, seeded and chopped ⓘ
- 1/3 cup chopped parsley or 2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper ⓘ
- 2 tsp. cumin seed or 1 Tbsp. ground cumin ⓘ
- 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions
- Cut the pork and beef into 1-inch cubes.
- Combine all ingredients in the crock-pot and stir thoroughly.
- Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours.
- Before serving, taste for seasoning and add salt and cumin as needed.
