Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. cherries
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. dates, cut up
  • 1 stick margarine

Instructions

  1. Cream the margarine and sugar together.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt and beat again.
  4. Stir in dates, cherries, nuts, and chocolate chips and mix well.
  5. Pour the batter into a tube pan.
  6. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 1 hour.
