Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup All-Bran cereal
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Sift together the flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  2. Beat the eggs until foamy.
  3. Add the pumpkin, vegetable oil, and All-Bran cereal to the eggs and mix well.
  4. Gradually beat in the dry ingredients until combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
  6. Spread the batter in an ungreased tube pan or Bundt pan.
  7. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
