Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. cut up maraschino cherries
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (10.5 oz.) can condensed chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, and soda in a bowl.
  2. Add cherries, chocolate chips, dates, and nuts to the mixture.
  3. Combine wet ingredients separately and fold into the dry mixture.
  4. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before removing from the pan and serving.
