Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Line two 12-inch pizza pans with foil.
  3. Cream brown sugar, sugar, butter, vanilla, and egg until light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  6. Divide the dough in half.
  7. Spoon each half in a circle on each prepared pizza pan to form wreaths.
  8. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool.
  10. Remove from pans.
  11. Decorate as desired, using icing to attach decorations if making a wreath.
