Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 (3.4 oz.) packages instant French vanilla pudding
  • 2 1/2 c. cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 12 oz. Cool Whip
  • 3 oz. chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil until all butter is melted.
  2. Add flour and salt all at once; beat until mixture forms a ball that leaves the sides of the saucepan.
  3. Cool slightly.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  5. Spread the pastry mixture onto an ungreased jellyroll pan or cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in a 400°F oven for 35 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven; pierce bubbles with a fork while hot.
  8. Cool completely.
