Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t soda
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1/3 c butter
  • Topping:
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 c chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Sift first four ingredients. Cream butter. Add sugar and eggs, one at a time. Add sifted dry ingredients, mix alternately with sour cream. Beat after each addition. Begin and end with flour.
  2. In 9x9 pan, place half batter, half topping, repeat. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
