Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 can drained tuna
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 package frozen peas
  • 3 chopped green onions
  • 1 can drained water chestnuts
  • 1 large can chow mein noodles
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, lemon juice, curry powder, and garlic salt; stir well.
  2. Add drained tuna, chopped celery, frozen peas, chopped green onions, and chopped water chestnuts; mix thoroughly.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for 8 hours to set flavors.
  4. Just before serving, fold in chow mein noodles and slivered almonds.
  5. Serve cold.
