Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped ham
  • 6 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 2 diced carrots
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) bag corn
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 1/2 quarts water
  • 8 teaspoons margarine
  • 8 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 cups milk

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook potatoes, carrots, celery, and ham in water about 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  2. Drain and remove vegetables, reserving the liquid.
