Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1/3 cup celery, chopped ⓘ
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped ⓘ
- 3/4 cup diced cucumber
- 1 1/4 cups peeled, seeded, diced tomatoes ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons shredded fresh basil leaves ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon minced thyme ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 4 cups spicy tomato juice ⓘ
- 1 1/2 cups crabmeat, back fin ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except crabmeat in a large bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or several hours to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, stir in the crabmeat gently.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve chilled with hearty bread.
