Ingredients

  • 1 bunch green onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. liquid crawfish boil
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 6 oz. American cheese, grated
  • 3 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1 lb. crawfish tails
  • bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Sauté chopped green onion in butter until fragrant.
  2. Add flour, salt, liquid crawfish boil, and garlic powder; cook, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour in cream and stir until hot; add grated American and Swiss cheeses, stirring until melted.
  4. Add crawfish tails and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour the mixture into a buttered casserole dish and top with bread crumbs.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C), uncovered, until bubbly and golden on top.
