Crescent Roll Taco Pockets are cheesy, flavorful handhelds filled with seasoned ground beef, chilies, and melted cheese, perfect for a quick, satisfying meal or snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 containers crescent rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 16 oz Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 2 cans whole chilies
  • chopped tomato
  • sour cream
  • salsa

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Open the crescent roll containers and lay out each dough section on a baking sheet.
  3. Open the cans of whole chilies and place one chili on each crescent roll section.
  4. Fill each crescent with some cooked ground beef and shredded cheese.
  5. Place another crescent roll on top of each filled section and pinch the edges together to seal.
  6. Bake according to the crescent roll package instructions until golden brown.
  7. Garnish the baked pockets with chopped tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, and additional chopped onion before serving.
