Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef ⓘ
- 3 cloves garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can dark red kidney beans ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) jar taco sauce ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder ⓘ
- 6 c. torn iceberg lettuce ⓘ
- 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. sliced pitted ripe olives ⓘ
- 4 green onions, sliced ⓘ
- tortilla cups (optional) ⓘ
- Dairy sour cream ⓘ
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and minced garlic until the meat is no longer pink.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Stir in undrained kidney beans, taco sauce, and chili powder.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
