Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate covered raisins
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Beat butter, sugar, and light brown sugar on high until light, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Add vanilla with the last egg and mix.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt to the mixture.
  5. Mix on low speed just to combine the ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate-covered raisins and chopped pecans.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 11 to 12 minutes, until golden.
