Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 c. celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
  • 1 1/2 c. potato chips, crushed

Instructions

  1. Lightly brown the ground beef and chopped onion in oleo, leaving the meat in chunks.
  2. Spread the meat mixture in a shallow, 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  3. Combine mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  4. Fold in partially frozen peas, sliced celery, and chopped pimiento into the soup mixture.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the meat in the casserole.
  6. Edge the top of the casserole with crushed potato chips.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
