Date Whip Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except whipping cream.
  2. Spread the mixture in a greased 9 x 9 inch pan.
  3. Bake at 375°F for 30 to 35 minutes until it rises and falls.
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Crumble the baked mixture with a fork into a bowl.
  6. Whip the cream until stiff and stir into the crumbled mixture.
  7. Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.
  8. Serve chilled.
