- Combine ground beef, ground pork, shoyu, sherry wine, sesame oil, salt, minced ginger, and chopped chives in a frying pan and sauté over medium heat until the meat is cooked.
- Place about a half teaspoon of the meat mixture in the center of a wonton skin.
- Fold the wonton skin in half to make a rectangle.
- Fold in half again, lengthwise.
- Bring the ends of the narrow rectangle together and press the corners of the first fold together, sealing with a dab of diluted egg.
- Deep fry the wontons until golden brown.
