Instructions
- Add water and oleomargarine to a pot and bring to a boil.
- Chop prunes, raisins, and dates; add them to the boiling water mixture and set aside to cool.
- Once cooled, add eggs or egg substitute, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and flour; mix well.
- Optional: fold in nuts.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Equal sweetener before serving.
