Dilly Salmon Pie
Ingredients
- 10-inch baked pie shell ⓘ
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded ⓘ
- 1 (1 lb.) can salmon, drained ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. flour ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. butter ⓘ
- 1 bunch green onions with about 2 inches green tops, sliced ⓘ
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 3/4 c. sour cream ⓘ
- 1 tsp. dill weed ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten ⓘ
Instructions
- Sprinkle half the cheese in the pastry shell.
- Remove any bones and skin from salmon; break into chunks.
- Mix lightly with flour and put into shell.
- In a pan, heat butter; saute onion until soft.
- Add soup, sour cream, dill and pepper.
- Heat and stir until it boils.
- Remove from heat.
- Mix in eggs; pour over salmon. Sprinkle top with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 325° for 30 minutes, or until set.
- Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
