- Slap the steak on a large piece of foil in a shallow pan. Scrub the steak with lemon so it absorbs rind flavor.
- Spread mustard on both sides of the steak, then gently fold the foil around the meat.
- Brown the meat on both sides under the broiler.
- Remove the meat and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Pour lemon juice over the meat.
- Dab Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar on the meat, then add Tabasco.
- Add the browned onions in butter to the foil-wrapped meat.
- Fold the foil over the meat and seal with a double fold.
- Bake in a 300°F oven for 3 hours.
- Remove from oven, place on a platter, and serve quickly.
