Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
  • 1 bottle water
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 16 oz. can sauerkraut

Instructions

  1. Mix hamburger, bread crumbs, onion soup mix, and eggs; shape into meatballs.
  2. Combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, water, brown sugar, and sauerkraut in a saucepan and cook for 30 minutes.
  3. Place the meatballs in a 9 x 12-inch glass pan.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 hours.
