Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 chicken breasts
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Skin the chicken, then cook it until done and remove the bones.
  2. Cut the cooked chicken into small pieces and place them in a baking dish.
  3. Mix the chicken broth and chicken soup, heat while stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken in the baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, pepper).
  6. Cut in the margarine and add the buttermilk to form a batter.
  7. Pour the batter over the chicken and soup mixture in the baking dish.
  8. Bake at 350°F until the crust is golden brown.
