Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 (28 oz.) can Italian tomatoes
  • 3 (13 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 pound zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup spaghetti
  • salt
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In hot butter or margarine, cook peas, diced carrots, diced onions, parsley, and basil for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in the Italian tomatoes, chicken broth, shredded cabbage, and sliced zucchini.
  3. Cook for 20 minutes or until the spaghetti is tender.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
