Tips & Substitutions

For added moisture, consider substituting the sourdough bread with whole wheat or gluten-free bread. You can also use ground chicken or beef if preferred. Experiment with different veggies such as carrots or zucchini for added flavor. If you want a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes or chopped jalapeños to the mixture.

Serving Suggestions

This turkey loaf pairs beautifully with a side of mashed potatoes or a fresh green salad. You can also serve it with a dollop of extra spaghetti sauce on the side for dipping. For a complete meal, consider adding steamed vegetables or a hearty grain like quinoa or brown rice as a side.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place slices in a microwave-safe dish and cover with a damp paper towel to retain moisture, heating in 30-second intervals until warmed through. Alternatively, reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
