Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups egg nog
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup soft margarine
  • 3/4 cup walnuts
  • 3/4 cup mixed candied fruit

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together egg nog, egg, and softened margarine.
  3. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
