Ingredients

  • 4 cups egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook diced bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat until cooked through.
  4. Add chopped onion to the beef and cook until softened.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture and stir well to combine.
  6. Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, salt, paprika, and pepper.
  7. Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until well combined.
  9. Serve the sauce over cooked egg noodles, garnished with crispy bacon.
