Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. fresh orange peel
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 package sweetened fruit peel or 1/2 cup raisins and walnuts
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F (150°C).
  2. Beat all the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  4. Before baking, arrange some raisins and walnuts on top of the batter.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. After baking, sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the cake.
