Esther'S Oatmeal Cake

Instructions
- Pour boiling water over oatmeal.
- Let stand 10 minutes.
- Add brown and white sugar and margarine.
- Stir until margarine melts. Add eggs and mix well. Sift flour, cocoa, salt and soda.
- Add to mixture plus 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle rest of chocolate chips and the nuts on top. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Good served with whipped cream or ice cream.
