Tips & Substitutions
To enhance the flavor, consider using homemade catsup or a spicy variant. You can substitute the anchovies with capers if you're looking for a vegetarian option. For a different twist, add some freshly chopped basil or oregano. This dish is versatile, so feel free to include other Mediterranean ingredients like marinated artichokes or roasted red peppers.
Serving Suggestions
Serve this antipasto as a flavorful appetizer or light meal, paired with crusty bread or crackers. It also makes a great topping for salads, such as a Greek Salad With Broiled Shrimp, or alongside grilled meats. For a complete meal, consider serving it with a side of pasta or roasted vegetables.
Storage & Reheating
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. The flavors will continue to develop over time. To serve, you can enjoy it cold or at room temperature. If you prefer it warm, gently reheat on the stove over low heat to avoid cooking the ingredients further.
