Ingredients

  • 1 can pork and beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 can butter lima beans
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix (Lipton)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. Drain about half the liquid from each can of beans.
  2. Mix all the beans, dry onion soup mix, brown sugar, chili powder, mustard, and ketchup in a bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking or casserole dish.
  4. Top with 3 or 4 strips of bacon.
  5. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 2 hours.
