Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cooked ground turkey, chicken or beef
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 16 oz. Ricotta
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 uncooked lasagne noodles
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Mix the cooked ground turkey, spaghetti sauce, red wine, garlic powder, and dried basil in a microwave-safe dish.
  2. Microwave on high for 7 minutes until bubbly.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan, parsley, beaten egg, and pepper.
  4. Layer cooked lasagne noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella in a baking dish.
  5. Repeat layers as desired and finish with cheese on top.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
