Florentine Beef(Casserole)
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef ⓘ
- 1 medium onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced ⓘ
- 1 clove garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1 tsp. oregano (dried) ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. plain flour ⓘ
- 1 c. beef broth ⓘ
- 1 c. sour cream ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. spinach, cooked and drained ⓘ
- 4 oz. sliced Mozzarella or Jack cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown beef, onion, mushrooms, garlic and oregano in a heavy frying pan over medium to high heat.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Stir in flour.
- Add beef broth and cook until thickened.
- Stir in sour cream.
- Add drained spinach.
