- 2 (10 oz each) packages frozen spinach, thawed and drained ⓘ
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 1/2 cup dairy sour cream ⓘ
- 1 egg, slightly beaten ⓘ
- 1/4 cup butter ⓘ
- 1/4 cup flour ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1 cup light cream ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- Drain and cool noodles in a large bowl of cold water; set aside.
- Saute chopped onions in 2 tablespoons butter until tender.
- Thaw and drain frozen spinach thoroughly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, sour cream, and slightly beaten egg.
- Spread a thin layer of the spinach mixture onto each cooked lasagna noodle.
- Roll up each noodle to enclose the filling.
- Prepare the sauce by melting 1/4 cup butter in a saucepan.
- Stir in 1/4 cup flour to make a roux.
- Add 1 1/2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon, pepper, and light cream, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
- Place the rolled noodles in a baking dish.
- Pour the sauce over the roll-ups.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
