Tips & Substitutions

For a deeper flavor, consider adding smoked paprika or diced jalapeños. If you don't have ground pork, you can substitute it with ground turkey or chicken. For a vegetarian version, replace the meat with diced mushrooms and use vegetable broth instead. Adjust the hot sauce according to your spice tolerance, as this stew can be made milder or spicier based on your preference.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Floyd's Brunswick Stew hot, garnished with fresh parsley or green onions for a pop of color. It pairs beautifully with Spears' German Hot Potato Salad or a simple green salad. For a heartier meal, consider serving crusty bread or cornbread on the side to soak up the delicious stew.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To freeze, place in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. To reheat, thaw in the refrigerator overnight and warm on the stove over medium heat, adding a splash of water if the stew is too thick.
