Ingredients

  • 5 lb. chuck roast
  • 2 Tbsp. Dale sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup large mushrooms
  • shoe string carrots
  • butter
  • new potatoes

Instructions

  1. Brown the chuck roast on both sides in oil in a heavy pot.
  2. Add light salt to taste, Dale sauce, chopped celery, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper.
  3. Cook on low covered for 2 hours.
  4. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add large mushrooms.
