Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 11 ounces dried fruit
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup apple juice concentrate
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and cloves.
  2. Blend in wet ingredients: dried fruit, raisins, apple juice concentrate, eggs, and margarine.
  3. Divide batter evenly between 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
  5. Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from pans and cool completely before serving.
