Fruited Chocolate Trifle
A luscious layered dessert with chocolate cake, fresh strawberries and bananas, topped with whipped cream and almonds, perfect for entertaining or special occasions.

- Cut the baked cake into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine cold milk and pudding mix; beat on low speed for 1 to 2 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
- Fold 1 1/2 cups of whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
- Spoon about one-third of the pudding mixture into the bottom of a 2 1/2-quart straight-sided glass serving bowl.
- Add one-third of the sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, and cake cubes as layers.
- Repeat the layering process two more times.
- Pipe or spoon the remaining whipped cream over the top layer of cake cubes.
- Garnish with sliced almonds and strawberries.
- Store the trifle in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
