Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. German chocolate, grated
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Slightly beat the cake mix, vanilla pudding, oil, and milk with an electric mixer.
  2. Gradually add eggs and mix well for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips and grated German chocolate.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 55 to 60 minutes.
  6. Cool the cake in the pan for 1 hour, then turn out onto a serving plate.
  7. Sprinkle the top with sifted powdered sugar before serving.
