Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves

Instructions
