Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dry pinto beans
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can Ro-Tel

Instructions

  1. Cook pinto beans until almost done, then add seasoned salt and pepper. Add chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, chopped garlic, chopped celery, and bay leaf.
  2. Bring beans to a boil, then add browned walnut-sized balls of ground beef and continue cooking until beef is done.
  3. Add Ro-Tel and simmer until all ingredients are tender and flavors meld.
