Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp onion
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can water

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, beaten egg, pepper, celery seed, bread crumbs, salt, and chopped onion together.
  2. Roll the mixture on a floured board and shape into patties.
  3. Brown the patties in hot oil on both sides.
  4. Place the browned patties in a covered dish and add hot oil.
  5. Mix the mushroom soup and water together.
  6. Pour the soup mixture over the meat.
  7. Bake at 300°F for 2 hours, covered.
