Ingredients

  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/4 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the oatmeal, butter, and boiling water; set aside for 20 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, white sugar, flour, soda, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the eggs and oatmeal mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake at 350°F for approximately 35 minutes.
  5. Once baked, spread sweetened condensed milk over the top before serving.
