Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 1/2 cups celery
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 can chicken with rice soup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger with celery and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Combine water, rice, and chicken with rice soup in a pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Let the mixture stand off heat until rice is tender.
  4. Add soy sauce and brown sugar to the cooked hamburger mixture.
  5. Mix in the cooked rice and soup mixture.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
