Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 pound sausage
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup Hi Ho crackers, crushed
  • 3 slices plain bread, broken into pieces
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
  4. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.
  5. Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
  6. Continue baking for an additional hour until cooked through.
