Ingredients
- 1/2 cup catsup ⓘ
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef ⓘ
- 1/2 pound sausage ⓘ
- 1 can stewed tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 bell pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1 medium onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped ⓘ
- 1 cup Hi Ho crackers, crushed ⓘ
- 3 slices plain bread, broken into pieces ⓘ
- 2 eggs, beaten ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon black pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
- Continue baking for an additional hour until cooked through.
