Ingredients

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 2 1/2 c. oats, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, crispy cooked and crumpled
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt; then cut in margarine until mixture is coarse crumbs.
  2. Stir in oats, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and raisins.
  3. Add milk and mix just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes.
  6. Cool completely; cut into bars. Can be wrapped individually and frozen.
  7. Enjoy as a great snack or lunchbox treat.
