A savory holiday quiche featuring ham, Swiss and Cheddar cheeses, and peppers, baked in a flaky deep-dish crust, perfect for festive gatherings and brunches.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen deep-dish pie crust
  • 1 can deviled ham
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon green pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the unpricked pie crust on a cookie sheet and bake for 6 minutes at 450°F.
  2. Remove the pie crust from the oven.
  3. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
  4. Combine the deviled ham, beaten eggs, light cream, shredded Swiss and Cheddar cheeses, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Sprinkle green and red peppers over the mixture if using.
  6. Pour the mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
