Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 10-inch unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cream the butter until smooth.
  3. Gradually beat in sugar, then add eggs, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt. Blend well.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips, chopped pecans, and bourbon.
  5. Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until set.
  7. Serve warm or cooled with whipped cream.
